Many of us will understand the pain of posing for the same photo over and over until it’s deemed to meet the seemingly impossible standards required to make it onto Instagram.
But one man was hilariously caught letting the mask slip after posing for a smiling snap with his girlfriend – only for her to spot his true feelings when looking back at the live photo.
The live photo feature captures a second or two of video before and after you take a picture, to make quirky loops or simply pick a better frame if someone messed it all up by having the audacity to blink at the wrong time.
TikTok user Dianenoelleleonar shared a clip showing her and her partner getting the perfect couple snap before heading out.
The live video caught afterwards hints the photo wasn’t the pair’s first attempt, as it exposes the moment her other half’s smile turns into the world’s biggest eye roll and expression that pleads the photoshoot is nearly over.
She captioned the find: “My partner is sick of my s***. Live photo catches everything.”
The video racked up more than two million views and left many viewers in stitches as they recognised the scenario all too well.
Some claimed his reaction was a “red flag” but one argued back to say: “The fact that he hates taking pictures that much and still takes pictures with you is the opposite of a red flag, he LOVES you.”
A second said: “Literally any guy who has to take that shot,” and another joked: “It was probably the 10th time taking the picture…”
When one person asked how many attempts it took before he “got sick of it”, Diane replied to confirm: “Maybe 100 lol.”
Someone else added: “This is a normal human reaction. Not everyone wants to take what was probably a million pictures. Calm down.”
